Baby Boomers with early-onset disabilities are said to "age with disability," while those with mid- or late-life onsets are said to have "disability with aging." This is stereotypic since disability and aging are processes that interleave across the whole life course.

So where do we go from here? We have gathered useful knowledge on disability and on aging with disability to improve the quality of life for persons of all ages with disability. to grow old or to live with a disability ~ with dignity, respect and independence.

Living well is the goal and the individual's services and supports will promote health and well-being. While it is all part of life, making the best of life is what it is all about.
